This Mother’s Day will go down in the hall-of-fame of mom day celebrations for me.
My son graduates from ASU in two days.
My daughter is engaged.
My mom is turning 75 next month – and I have all three of them with me today to celebrate Mother’s Day.
What a gift.
Raising Briana and Christian has been the honor of my life and watching them chase and live out their hopes and dreams as adults is always profound knowing I’ve helped shape the grounded, grateful people they’ve become.
I wouldn’t be a mom without mine, and I treasure the ability to have her here to keep celebrating with – and for the influence she’s had on my own role as a mom.Love you mommy!
Sending love to my bonus kids Katelyn and Travis, who enrich my life in more ways than I ever could’ve imagined. The family we’ve all become together is one of my life’s greatest blessings.
Big hugs to my four-legged biggest boy Gunnar, who for 12 years now, has given me someone to sing and talk to at the highest pitches, without ever complaining.
And on this day, I think of Doug’s mom with love. Though we never had the chance to meet I am forever grateful to her for raising the love of my life.
