This is my happy dance following an incredible night raising more than $260K for the love and mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: Finding Cures. Saving Children
I was honored to serve as this weekend’s emcee for the first-ever St. Jude Evening in the Desert VIRTUAL Gala.
That’s right!
When my friend and event chair Leeann Verret had to cancel the March event due to #COVID19, she and her committee pivoted to a virtual gala, and boy did this team knock it out of the park!
The night featured some of country music’s biggest songwriters – Kelley Lovelace, Jesse lee, and JT Harding – behind some of the biggest artists like Brad Paisley, Brett Young and Uncle Kracker.
They shared the stories behind their #1 hits and performed live from Nashville. It was MAGICAL
My talented friend Subyn Wadsworth served as the evening’s live auctioneer and she killed it with trips to TV sets, Hawaii and the wine country.
The fabulous Gibby Parra was the man behind the camera and we absolutely could not have pulled this off without him. He rocks!

circumstances we face!
Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone who joined us from the comfort of their homes Saturday night,
families will never receive a bill from St. Jude for
treatment, travel,
housing, or food.
