I’ve had the pleasure of working with MASK (Mothers Awareness on School-age Kids) since shortly after a group of moms created this incredible non-profit organization in 2007.
From day one MASK has been on a mission to help support families and kids with the challenges they face – like bullying, peer pressure, internet safety – by empowering them to make safe, healthy choices. There were many times, when my kids were young, that I turned to MASK as a resource and a guide to navigating those sometimes challenging years.
That’s why it is my honor to once again serve as emcee for this year’s 17th annual unMASKed Gala and the celebration of nearly two decades of engaging, educating and empowering families.
Thank you to MASK founderS for once again including me in this special and moving evening of fun and fundraising.
Auctioneer Brett Higgins did another awesome job of raising funds that support programming aimed at equipping students with the confidence to manage their emotions, develop frustration tolerance, and establish healthy boundaries.
