What a joy to emcee the Adelante Heathcare inaugural Rooted in Community Luncheon.
Adelante started in fields and farmland in El Mirage more than 45 years ago. Today – Adelante has nine health centers, more than 89,000 unique patients, and nearly 900 staff members. What hasn’t changed is the mission of creating inclusive, high-quality care for all. Organizations like Adelante are a lifeline – especially now – when budget cuts threaten the future of Federal Qualified Health Centers.
I had a lovely afternoon, running into longtime friends in the community – all there to celebrate the powerful life-changing impact that Adelante has been making in our community for more than four decades. It’s a celebration that’s been long overdue!
