“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.”
I love telling stories – whether it’s in front of a camera, behind a microphone, or on a stage.
There is something so inspiring and magical in storytelling.
Everyone has a story.
The peaks and valleys, the triumphs and tragedies, the success and failures, the challenges and obstacles.
There is power in every single story.
It has been a honor to use my platform through the years to report, to share, to lead and amplify the voices of others, including my own.
The last year has been such a learning curve for me in continuing to do what I do in a time when doing it in person wasn’t an option.
Like a lot of you, I learned to pivot and embrace the change and it’s led to such personal growth.
I’m happy to see so many causes and organizations I’ve been involved with through the years return to their fundraisers and events both virtually and in-person and I’m just as excited to serve as an emcee or speaker for several of them this year.
While it has certainly felt like a bumpy start to the new year, I’m holding on to positive vibes that the best is yet to come
