Oh what a night!
Bite Nite 2021 – under a beautiful Arizona evening sky – raising funds and awareness for the ALS Association Arizona Chapter to help cure this cruel disease.
I was honored once again to co-emcee this special night with my pal Larry Gaydos, surrounded by the best group of friends a girl could ask for.
I’m incredibly blessed to have such love and support in my life.
The food, the music, the gorgeous looking crowd — it all added up to a night of laughter and tears, that included a moving memoriam to the friends and loved ones we’ve lost to ALS. That memoriam included a picture of my aunt Penny, who bravely fought her battle with ALS for nearly five years with grace and dignity.
I know she would’ve appreciated that the DJ played everything from Kool and The Gang to Earth, Wind and fire to the Sugar Hill Gang – and that I led some dancing on stage.
In the spirit of my aunt and the 30,000 people in the U.S. affected by this disease – please help find a cure.
And while you do – live, love, laugh and dance like no one is watching.
Life is too damn short for things that don’t matter and that you can’t take with you.
