What an incredible day of love and recommitment.
10 years after we officially said ‘I Do’, Doug and I celebrated by renewing our vows with a beautiful, intimate ceremony yesterday in front of our cherished family and friends.
Not only did I wear my original wedding dress, but our dear friend @mediumallison – who officiated our wedding a decade ago on the beach in Malibu – officiated our vow renewal too!.
Doug’s heartfelt vows blew us away and had me and everyone else in the room, teary-eyed and emotional.
We are so blessed to have found each other and to continue to get stronger and grow more in love with every year.
10 years ago I told him I love him so much I would marry him over and over. Yesterday, we did just that. And… If the dress still fits in another ten years, you can be sure we’ll do it again!
I want to share how beautiful it was having our four incredible kids standing with us as we renewed our commitment. Our love has been strengthened by their bond with each other and their love and support of us. I can’t think of a blended family that came together so effortlessly from the very beginning, the way ours did. As our oldest daughter so perfectly put it… it’s hard to imagine life without Doug and me together and all our kids being sibs .
