I have a confession….
I am having a love affair with #podcasts.
I must listen to about 6 or 7 a week.
You’d think I would’ve discovered this obsession years ago since I’ve been hosting a podcast for about four years now.
I just never seemed to have the time for them.
Or so I thought.
Like a lot of other little silver linings I’ve uncovered during this pandemic, making the time to listen to podcasts has been a joyful and transformative discovery for me.
I listen when I’m in the car. I listen when I’m running. I listen when I’m cooking. I listen when I scrapbook. I listen when I’m doing my hair and makeup (which isn’t that often these days, but still!).
I have learned about so much – including myself – because the topics I get to dive into through podcasts are so varied.
I listen to some podcasts for discussions on mentorship and marriage. I listen to others to for in-depth conversations about voter suppression or systemic racism. Others I gravitate to for interviews with health and wellness experts on everything from gut health to hormone balance and intermittent fasting. Some I listen to for lessons on courage and overcoming burnout. Others I listen to because they feature well-known authors talking about their books. Some I simply listen to for the celebrity interviews where I can learn fun tidbits like how Reese Witherspoon is a speed-reader and often reads a book a day
Are you a podcast junkie too?
Please share your favs.
Here is a list of mine (in no particular order). The hosts are fabulous, but it’s the combination of the host AND the diverse and thoughtful topics, that keep me coming back for more:

The Anti-Racism Daily Podcast with Nicole Cardoza

Of course I would be remiss if I didn’t suggest The Women’s Eye podcast, with yours truly.️
