CATHERINE
Host /Storyteller
“With Catherine as host, Horizonte has expanded and provided a blending of our Latino population's cultural experiences and current topics in a historical, honest, and professional manner. Catherine has been a highly respected Latina media icon in our community for many years. As a viewer and third generation Mexican-American, I feel she embraces us, and embodies the spirit, heart, and soul of our community through Horizonte.”
“She’s a 'Jill of all trades' when it comes to media... a gifted story teller, able to frame important messages powerfully and with nuance and get 'right to the meat' ”
"In my long career I have had the pleasure of working with many television personalities. Catherine is one of the very best storytellers I have ever worked with. Her care and attention to detail as well as her ability to synthesize all of the information about a story down to its most essential parts, to create something memorable and often emotional is incredible. I've also attended many functions where she has served as the master of ceremonies and she is equally as talented in that role as well. We should all be so lucky to have Catherine tell our story!"
“We love working with Catherine. She emceed our inaugural ICONIC Design Awards, and did an A+ job! It was our first show ever, and we leaned heavily on her expertise to guide us to success. Her delivery was flawless, she kept everything on time and the audience loved her. Her warm and friendly presentation was matched by her decades-long experience and expertise… She prepared in advance, and she was a true pro. You couldn't work with a better emcee!”
AS A JOURNALIST AND MULTIMEDIA HOST, CATHERINE HAS BROUGHT NUMEROUS STORIES TO LIFE WITH HER ENGAGING PERSONALITY AND TALENT FOR MEANINGFUL STORYTELLING
