APPRECIATING ART

A few weeks ago my mom and I had the pleasure of spending a few hours appreciating longtime friendship and appreciating magnificent art.
Our fabulous friend José Cárdenas invited us to his stunning home for a private glimpse of the latest additions to his vast art collection
He and his beloved late wife Virginia loved the arts and you can feel that love in every space of their home.
My mom is passionate about art, so this was a special and emotional treat for her.
It was wonderful catching up with my longtime friends @lueraanita and @emcostelloart – whose remarkable art is prominently featured throughout José’s home.
José and I have been friends for many years and it’s been a high honor for me to get to know him even better since becoming host of Horizonte on @arizonapbs, the show he helmed and helped launch in 2003.
If you’ve been wondering where our new episodes of Horizonte have been, we have taken a hiatus for the summer, but will be back in full force in September with a new season of exciting episodes and topics of interest in our community.
Thank you to everyone who has supported and watched Horizonte and to those who’ve shared that with me out and about in the community.
It means the world to all of us involved in the show.
