“If it doesn’t nourish your skin or soul, let it go”

Fortunately for me, this beauty behind me (in the accompanying photo) nourishes by skin and my soul.
Not only is Shannon Thorpe one of my dearest, funniest and most spirited friends in the whole world – she’s also the best darn aesthetician in Arizona!
We don’t call the magic she performs on your skin the “Shannon Glow” for nothing.
I get so many compliments on my skin, which for someone who’s battled melasma for years since having kids, gives me all the feels.

Through the years I’ve tried everything from prescription creams, to glycolic peels and laser treatments to get rid of the brownish “mask” on various parts of my skin. I stay out of the sun as much as possible and wear sunscreen religiously. But still, the melasma persisted until I started getting regular facials from Shannon. It’s not only more nourished looking and feeling, but I feel so much more confident going out without makeup.

I love that she doesn’t use a one-size-fits-all approach to skin care. She evaluates what your skin is doing in that moment and let’s its behavior determine her course of treatment. It could microdermabrasion one visit or a peel the next. Her facials are tailor-made to your skin.

Skin care is like a lot of things in life. The only way to see results is to stay consistent.
GLOW see my friend Shannon at Mais Oui Skin Care in Scottsdale, Arizona!
I promise your skin will feel like your soul; nourished and loving you for it.
